If dad needs a little help in this area, a book on home repair from your local bookstore also makes a great gift (assuming he realizes he needs the help).
For the Sporty Dad
Your local golf course, pro shop, tackle store, or sporting goods place can provide new equipment for any of his hobbies or better yet, purchase the equipment for a hobby the two of you can take on together. If you’re not sure what he’d like, talk to the people at the store. Take a trip to your local bakery, craft beer brewery, or bistro and pick dad up one of his favorite dishes and/or beverages. Spoil dad on his special day.
