At Conpoto, we believe in local. In local communities, local merchants, and organizations supporting local. We’re an organization that believes in community. In the businesses and people that make local communities so much more.
In Latin, Conpoto means
DRINK TOGETHER
We’re a cloud-based software that was built for locally minded organizations, small merchants, and festival organizers. It was designed to fuel local economies.
Way back in 2011, Conpoto was founded as a way to send gifts to friends, employees, clients…anybody else you want on your good side. We began working with local organizations, like chambers of commerce and downtown district associations, to connect people buying the gifts and the merchants offering the opportunity to gift.
In 2014, we launched our community currency platform, and a new way of gifting was born. Soon thereafter, we developed our merchant gift certificate platform to help merchants handle the influx of gift certificate requests. In 2019, our ticketing platform became a reality and handling ticketing events just got a whole lost easier.
Matt Lepard
CEO
Matt founded Conpoto in 2011, mainly because he enjoys ‘drinking together’ with other people. His favorite pastime is hanging out with his wife and kids, as they enjoy all that Michigan has to offer. All while ‘drinking together’ (he promises his kids are drinking Shirley Temples).
Andy Bass
CTO
Andy joined the Conpoto team in 2012. You might have guessed it; Andy is really interested in all things related to tech. He also loves being with his wife and daughters, especially when they get to travel the world as a family…and ‘drink together’ in far off places.

Evan was added to the Conpoto roster in 2015. Like her intrepid team members, Evan is a big fan of globetrotting and exploring the great state of Michigan. And yes, you can bet she’s definitely ‘drinking together’ with her family and friends along the way.
