The Hotel St. Regis, located in Detroit, Mich., has joined Gift Detroit, a new community currency program that drives local spending. Gift Detroit is managed by the Detroit Regional Chamber and powered by Conpsoto.
Kelly Therkalsen of the Hotel St. Regis Detroit is excited about the many marketing opportunities Gift Detroit promises to reconnect with past consumers and foster new businesses relationships.
Gift Detroit will be a great tool to gain new clients, new corporate clients and new business partnerships, Therkalsen said.

Aside from business and marketing opportunities, Therkalsen chose to participate in Gift Detroit as it allowed for them to partner up with the Detroit Regional Chamber. “Chambers always play an important role in my business strategy. I’ve only ever had great experiences with them,” he said. “They are networked, understand the players and are motivated to help me grow my business. Gift Detroit is a great example of their commitment.”
