Launched in the summer of 2014, West Coast Cash generated more than $10,000 in sales within the first three weeks. What’s more, the cloud-based community gifting technology managed by the West Coast Chamber of Commerce helped increase membership by 25 percent.
West Coast Cash provides instant access to local restaurants, shops and service businesses through the use of email, smart phones or printed gift certificates.

The West Coast Chamber of Commerce Membership Team promoted the local currency program via meetings, Facebook, website and public relations.
